Oh the Humanity

From Pixels to Pencils Jun 10, 2014

When someone puts a callout for “no construction experience necessary”, you know I’ll be there.  I signed up for NoVA’s Habitat for Humanity volunteer list, but with my impending move, my schedule was packed.  Luckily, a last minute call for volunteers coupled with my desire to take a break from work, provided the perfect opportunity to do some volunteer work.  I didn’t get to do any real construction, but I did learn that “green” drywall is heavier than regular drywall (and that I desperately need to do some weight training).
