Credit for Community Service Hours?

I said, “Look!  You just got credit for community service!”  Paul replied, “Yeah.  I didn’t think I owed any.”

The park bench in our community park had be vandalized, NYC style.  Taking some initiative (and slight hints from me), my super, awesomest hubby busted out the generator and powersander and got to work on the bench.  An hour and two buckets of water later, the bench looked (almost) as good as new!  Boys are so useful.
