Good-bye old kitchen

I never liked you anyway, and I doubt that you liked me.  How you teased me with that doorway between the range and the sink, hoping that I would collide with an unsuspecting pedestrian only looking to get a glass of water.How you mocked me with two small 15-inch counter flanking my range that never allowed me enough room to cook and plate in one spot.  How you laughed as I tried to squeeze my torso into your narrow 15-inch wide pantry to reach that can of beans waaaaaay in the back.  Look who’s laughing now.  John and the crew will be by in the morning with the crowbars.
